
Algorithmic Trading Strategist [ZFV-AI02]
Our client
Our client is one of the most prestigious firms in its highly specialized trading market, a sector worth 100 billion dollars a year in itself. The company has 10 years’ experience in the field and its business covers the entire Central European region.
The role is based in Budapest.
Tasks
The goals of the role:
Building models for algorithmic trading
Design and develop an automated trading system. Fine tune and improve trading models and the automated execution system.
This includes:
Researching, statistically analysing and discovering
relationships among instruments and indicators, analysing price patterns
Designing automated trading models, implementing
them, back testing/scenario testing
Monitoring the model performance, reviewing, analyzing
Using the results to improve trading efficiency, modifying models including encoding, testing, debugging
Requirements
Experience:At least 3 years experience in business fields or relevant experience
At least 3 years practice of programming
Hands-on experience with mathematical modelling
Designing and building algorithms from scratch
Experience with Artificial Intelligence
Algorithmic trading
Experience working with financial models and related concepts (pricing, risk
hedging, Real Time order execution)
University degree in physics / mathematics or engineering
Capabilities:
Intellectual curiosity
High intellect, rigorous approach to data
Large capacity for absorbing and retaining information
Initiative
Strong quantitative orientation
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong IT knowledge – Excel, VBA, SQL,
Fluent written and spoken English
Hungarian native (alternatively Russian)
Ability to work in an international environment under pressure
Advantageous
Further/double degree in finance / economics or engineering or software related
Experience in C++, Delphi
Engineering background with some business orientation
Knowledge of Kyoto Protocol methodologies, processes
Knowledge of the power sector, industrial sectors
Any other Central European language
