Our client
Our client designs, develops, operates and supports digital platform contents and services such as Massively Multiplayer/Role Playing Games, community portals and other Internet, mobile, interactive TV contents for distribution to external customers as well as to other own business units.
Due to their dynamic growth they are now looking for an Application Test Programmer who will be responsible for test activities of specific projects.
Tasks
- Be responsible for test activities (plan, execute, report) of specific projects
- Work with Producers and Developers designing and executing functional tests on web applications and browser based web sites.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team designing and executing functional tests on 3 tier Java based solutions for deployment on the Web to consumers around the world.
- Document test requirements specifications, design test systems and design tests.
- Document test plans, test cases and test scripts and programs using the relevant technology e.g. Java and other open source technologies.
- Execute test cases, maintain test script and test system.
- Provide test and bug reports, hold test and bug review meetings.
Requirements
- Technical Degree- 1+ years structured testing experience in software development
- Experience in widely used test management and defect tracking tool(e.g. Quality Center, JIRA)
- Good understanding of web: http, HTML, JavaScript, Flash, Browsers
- Good understanding of Software development and Test life cycle.
- Good communication skills in English
- Willingness to work alone and with local or remote teams as well
Advantageous
- Test automation experience of web applications
- Java experience
- Unit test framework experience (e.g. JUnit or TestNG)
- Frontend test framework experience(e.g. Selenium or HTMLUnit)
- Version Control System (e.g. SVN, Perforce)
- SQL (e.g. MySQL, MSSQL)
