
Content Management Coordinator [JU - CMC12]
Our client
Our client, the Walt Disney Internet Group designs, develops, operates and supports digital platform contents and services such as Massively Multiplayer/Role Playing Games, community portals and other Internet, mobile, interactive TV contents for distribution to external customers as well as to other own business units.
As the Disney internet group moves into a more central role in producing marketing content for other lines of business around the company, currently they are looking for enthusiastic Content Management Coordinators.
Tasks
• Work with key stakeholders to plan and build websites linked to key Disney properties which represent various interests across the company, EMEA
• Lead these projects with input from creative and engineering colleagues and supervise their production using either internal or external resource
• Liaise with internal colleagues across Europe and in the United States to source assets and ensure that material is relevant for each market and territory
• Schedule content updates for the site, using web analytic tools to ensure all updates are implemented with maximum effect
• Assist stakeholders and production staff in the sourcing and commissioning/producing of web content
• Ensure integrity and quality of all material delivered by third parties and internal suppliers
• Effectively manage and organise large amounts of content and assets from multiple sources/stakeholders
• Perform basic image editing, such as cropping and optimising, using Adobe Photoshop
• Sub-edit and proof-read web content following agreed style guidelines
• Ensure all content rights are cleared and documented for allocated web content
• Create and manage content within a bespoke Content Management System
• Remotely work with production teams in our London offices as well as stakeholders/colleagues across the region
• Contribute to written policies and procedures for design, integration and production across Disney.co.uk and then ensure that these policies are adhered to
• Oversee the localisation of the websites into multiple languages
Requirements
• College or university degree• Demonstrable experience of working on complex projects requiring strong project management and organizational skills
• Experience in an internet or new media environment; very good understanding of content and consumer behaviuor online
• Significant experience in writing, editing and commissioning content online – particularly within the entertainment field.
• Experience working with localization agencies and sites that are not in their native language
• Strong copyediting and proofreading skills
• Strong communication and good organizational skills
• Working understanding of Photoshop, HTML, CMS publishing, and broad principles of website publishing
• Fluency in English
Advantageous
• Experience of TV / Radio Broadcast scheduling would be an advantage.
• Some experience of producing, editing and encoding online video
