Windows Infrastructure Engineer [ZF-MSIE2]

Our Client is one of the world’s largest and most respected financial services companies.
Tasks
- Engineer/sustain existing and new technologies into the firm.
- Ensure products meet the necessary security, supportability, performance requirements.
- Create, review, maintain and update documentation.
- Provide 3rd line support to investigate and troubleshoot root causes.
- Dissemination of knowledge amongst peers.
Requirements
- University or college degree (Preferable in IT)- Fluency in English
- Deep technical understanding of Windows Desktop x86 and x64 operating systems
- Knowledge of common third party tools used to manage/support large environments
- Strong troubleshooting mindset (i.e. parsing event log, sysinternals tools, analyzing memory dumps)
- Experience of large scale desktop deployment tools and techniques
- Scripting ability highly desired (PowerShell, VBScript, batch etc.)
- Ability to write technical design and operational management documentation
- Desktop/Laptop Hardware Knowledge
Advantageous
- Knowledge of common Windows Infrastructure i.e. Active Directory/SCCM/GPO
- Development experience/knowledge
- Experience of working in a multinational environment
