
Service Administrator - Web Analyst [JU-SA150]
Our client
Our client designs, develops, operates and supports digital platform contents and services such as Massively Multiplayer/Role Playing Games, community portals and other Internet, mobile, interactive TV contents for distribution to external customers as well as to other own business units.
Tasks
• Provide ongoing web analytics code debugging, maintenance, development support to internal and possibly external customers
• Understand key web metrics customers look for and help them by developing new offerings for their explicit, implicit and implied requirements
• Understand web analytics tools, especially Omniture Site Catalyst. Debug, develop, and maintain dashboard reporting features in Omniture Site Catalyst
• Support account management and their contractors with their technical issues
• Develop reports based on ad hoc requests what can be made available to multiple customers
• Maintain a technical manual for the web analytics tool – update the manual so that it is always up to date. Distribute the manual to customers and accumulate their feedback into that
• Provide technical training sessions for internal and external audience using online and offline means
• Take an editorial role in the TechOps/OSD newsletter
Requirements
• College or university degree• Advanced understanding of web analytic tools, their features and advantages/disadvantages
• Proven experience in web analytics administration
• Understanding of Omniture SiteCatalyst, or at least one other web analytics solutions. Proven experience in using and customizing the tool
• Excellent knowledge of HTML/XHTML, ActionScript, JavaScript, SQL, php
• Have some additional coding skills (like perl, python, java/JSP)
• Expert user of MS Office tools, especially Excel; can write macros and visual basic code if needed
• Excellent knowledge of operating systems, including flavors of Linux and Windows
• Solid understanding of web technologies, platforms, web servers and service
• Customer focused – takes problem ownership and follows-up until a given case is closed to the satisfaction of the customer
• Very good written and verbal command of English
• Excellent problem solver and time management skills
Advantageous
• Understanding of regex, lexx, yacc
• Knowledge of other web analytics tools (such as HitBox, Google Analytics, ClickTracks, WebTrends)
• Power user of Excel (formulas, macros, pivot tables, etc.)
• System administration experience
